FISCAL NOTE

 

This bill transfers 1 full-time position from the Wyoming Community College Commission to the Construction Management Division of the Dept. of Administration & Information.

 

This bill transfers $36,023 from the Wyoming Community College Commission to the Construction Management Division of the Dept. of Administration & Information to partially fund and support the position transferred.

 

This bill contains an authorization of 1 additional Full-Time position.

 

$108,000 from the Community College Construction Management appropriation within the Dept. of Administration & Information's 2013-14 biennial budget shall be available to the Construction Management Division for salary and benefits of the positions authorized.

 

This bill also transfers payment authority for construction of and major maintenance for community college facilities to the Construction Management Division. The Community College Commission estimates that $13,537,448 in unspent capital construction funding and $2,291,488 in unspent major maintenance funding would be transferred to the Construction Management Division via the B-11 process. The amount for major maintenance is 20 percent of the biennial appropriation, and the amount for capital construction is construction funding for four separate projects at three colleges. The design funding for these same four projects was transferred to the Construction Management Division on August 19, 2012.
