Subject:                     The maximum value for certain summary proceedings for probate.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Under probate provisions, expedited ancillary proceedings may be followed if the estate has a value of less than $150,000.

· This bill increases that amount to $200,000.

· The ancillary proceedings include:

o Collection of claims by creditors upon presentation of an affidavit;

o The admission of probate proceedings in another state and sale of Wyoming property of the estate when the value of a non-resident’s estate in Wyoming is less than the stated amount.
