· State level land use planning statutes have been in place for many years, but many of those provisions have not been implemented.

· This act repeals those state level land use planning statutes.

· There are two statutes authorizing local level land use planning.  All counties are currently operating under one of those statutory systems.

· This act repeals the local level land use planning statutes that are not currently in use.
