· The act amends the education statutes, replacing the term “general educational development (GED),” a specific assessment, with “high school equivalency certificate,” a more generic description.

· It requires the Wyoming community college commission draft rules and regulations governing high school equivalency certificates, including acceptable testing instruments and acceptable scores for the various Hathaway scholarship levels.
