Subject:                     Miscellaneous updates to Department of Family Services statutes.

Summary/Major Elements:  This act:

· Replaces “food stamp” references throughout the statutes with the current name, “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.”

· Provides in the Juvenile Justice Act and in state institutions statutes that children be placed in a suitable certified hospital or appropriate acute placement facility, rather than specifying referral to the Wyoming State Hospital.
