Delete the Landen, et al. Committee of the Whole Amendment (SF0096SW001/A) entirely and further amend as follows:

Page 1-line 7 After "(intro)" insert "and by creating a new subsection (d)".

Page 2-After line 8 Insert:

"(d)  Notwithstanding subsection (a) or (c) of this section, for any child who is sixteen (16) years of age or more, the board of trustees of the school district shall exempt any child from the operation of this article upon written request from the parent, guardian or other person after meeting in person with a school district counselor or administrator.".
