AN ACT
relating to administration of government; providing boards of cooperative educational
services an option to participate in the state employees' and officials' group
insurance plan; modifying provisions relating to voluntary participation by nonstate employers; specifying participation and
contribution requirements and procedures and implementing payment mechanisms
for participating boards; and providing
for an effective date.

department, if a district or board withdraws from the state group insurance
plan during the period of irrevocability, the department may assess against the
withdrawing board or district the amount by which all claims paid on behalf of
employees of the board or district exceeds total premiums paid by the board or
district and their employees.".
