FISCAL NOTE

No significant fiscal or personnel impact at the state level.

The filing fee for District Court civil actions, apart from the $10 court automation fee and the $10 indigent civil legal services fee, is received by the District Court Clerk’s office and is income to the county.  Therefore, this proposed legislation would result in an indeterminable revenue increase to counties.
