FISCAL NOTE

This bill contains an appropriation of $3,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund Board.

DETAIL OF APPROPRIATION

Funds will be expended in the 200 series, primarily to cover the increased costs of board travel for the additional board member to attend board meetings and conduct site visits for projects applying for or receiving grant funding from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund.

Assumptions:

This legislation would increase the overall size of the Cultural Trust Fund Board by one member.  The bill does not go into effect until March 1, 2015, meaning the appropriation only covers the costs of travel associated with the additional board member from 3/1/15 to 6/30/16.  $3,000 is the estimated administrative costs of supporting the additional board member's travel expenses for the four board meetings that will take place in the 16-month period, plus travel expense for the additional board member to conduct the occasional site visit during that time period.
