Catch Title:              Eighty miles per hour speed limit.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Allows the Director of the Department of Transportation to establish a speed limit on interstate highways not to exceed 80 miles an hour if the Director determines that the speed limit is reasonable and safe under the conditions found to exist on any section of the interstate highway system.

· Makes a corresponding increase to speeding violation records maintained by the department of transportation.
