· The act increases Hathaway student scholarship program awards by 5%:  

o The opportunity scholarship is increased by $40.00, increasing the per semester award from $800.00 to $840.00.

o The performance scholarship is increased by $60.00, increasing the per semester award from $1,200.00 to $1,260.00.

o The honor scholarship is increased by $80.00, increasing the per semester award from $1,600.00 to $1680.00.

o The maximum award under the need based scholarship is increased by $75.00, increasing the per semester amount from $1,500.00 to $1,575 and the minimum award under this provision is increased by $5.00 increasing the per semester award amount from $100.00 to $105.00.
