Summary/Major Elements:

· This act requires teachers and administrators to complete 8 hours of suicide prevention training every 4 years, with 2 hours of training required the first year of employment, if the teacher or administrator has not received suicide training in the past.

· It also requires local boards of trustees to make the suicide prevention training material available to interested members of the public.

· This act requires the Wyoming department of education publish and make available suitable suicide prevention training material for teachers and administrators.
