Summary/Major Elements:

· Under current law, game wardens are authorized to conduct warrantless searches of camps, packs, motor vehicles, boats and other areas when a warden has probable cause to believe wildlife has been illegally taken or is illegally possessed.

· This act eliminates this specific authority for game wardens to make warrantless searches.  The act does not affect any other law relating to warrantless searches.
