Tentative Schedule of Key Events
1999 General Session
The Wyoming Constitution limits the general Session of the Legislature to 40 legislative days. During the last several General Sessions, the Legislature has targeted a schedule of 38 days.
A tentative 38 day schedule of key events for the 1999 General Session is available below. It has not been placed on the regular calendar to avoid misunderstanding by the public.
Many of these key events can be changed literally during the day on which they were tentatively scheduled to occur and without notice. This schedule is simply a planning tool. It is generally followed fairly closely, but the volume and complexity of legislation requires flexibility with respect to many of these key events.
