SUBJECT: Chapter 17, Site Selection and School Construction for Wyoming Public School Buildings (Repeal).

NATURE OF RULES:                        Procedural.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY:            W.S. 21‑2‑202(a)(i).

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION

SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:

Apparently complete to date.

SUMMARY OF RULES:

            The existing Agency rules pertaining to the administration of the school capital construction system under jurisdiction of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and in effect prior to 2002 Laws, Chapter 99, are repealed.  The 2002 law established the current school capital construction program under jurisdiction of the School Facilities Commission.

FINDINGS:

            The Agency revocation of Chapter 17 conforms to law and eliminates rules which have been superseded by law.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

            That the revocation of Chapter 17 be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
