AGENCY: Wyoming Livestock Board.

SUBJECT: Chapter 9, Brand Inspection and Brand Recording Fees.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY:         W.S. 11-18-103(a)(v)

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:  Apparently complete to date.

SUMMARY OF RULES:

These rules are being amended to increase the brand inspection surcharge by 20%, raising the surcharge fee from $7.50 to $9.00 and to delete expired effective dates and rates that were effective prior to January 1, 2008.

FINDINGS:

The rules appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

That the rules be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
