SUBJECT: Chapter I, General Provisions; Chapter III, Fees, Chapter IV, Registration; Chapter V, Regulatory; Chapter VI, Business Entities; Chapter VII, Practice and Procedure; and Chapter IX, Continuing Professional Competency.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY:         W.S. 33-29-119(b)

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:  Apparently complete to date.

SUMMARY OF RULES:  These rules are being promulgated to:  amend definitions; change fees, remove certain examinations; remove specific administration dates for examinations, include materials for certain examinations, provide opportunity for internationally educated applicants to apply to take the examination, better define requirements for public service employees, better define the procedures for filing complaints, allow for electronic submittals, to update continuing professional competency and to correct grammatical errors.

FINDINGS:  The rules appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  That the rules be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
