SUBJECT: Chapter 8, School Foundation Program.

NATURE OF RULES:                     Legislative; procedural.

STATUTORY AUTHORITY:         W.S. 21-2-202; 21-13-309(m)(v)(A)

DETERMINATION OF PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE BASED UPON INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE AGENCY TO LSO:  Apparently complete to date.

SUMMARY OF RULES:  The rules being amended address school district funding through the school foundation program.  The rules are amended by changing the definitions of "English Language Learner (ELL) Student", "Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) Student" and "Mobile Student".

FINDINGS: The rules appear to be within the scope of statutory authority and legislative intent.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That the rules be placed on the Consent List and be approved by the Council as submitted by the Agency.
