Review of veterans' benefits in statute and deceptive practices regarding veterans' benefits.

 

Priority #: 2     Military Affairs - Armories

 

Study the long-term strategy, funding and maintenance for Wyoming's national guard armories.

 

Priority #: 3     Transportation – Registration / Titling

 

Study the titling of trailers and their loads. Include consideration of homemade trailers, utility trailers, boats and off-road vehicles.  Consider the definition of house trailers in regard to utility trailers with living quarters.

 

Priority #: 4     Transportation - Towing

 

Study the adequacy, application and fairness of laws, rules and regulations guiding the towing of vehicles.  Consider the pricing of towing services.

 

Priority #: 5     Reports from WyDOT

 

a)Reports required by statute; b)Federal highway funding bill (MAP-21) requirements and consistency with Wyoming law; c) Basis for establishing speed limits on Wyoming roads inconsistent with Wyoming's default speed limits; d) WYOLINK.

 

Priority #: 6     Highway Signage

 

Study the statutory and regulatory rules guiding signage on and off highway rights-of-way, including commercial enterprises advertising.  Consider governance and budget issues.

 

Priority #: 7     WyDOT Budget

 

Review of WyDOT budget.

 

 

 

 

 

Priority #  8 Agency Budget Review

 

The Committee will review proposed 2%, 4% and 6% budget cuts as submitted by the supervised agencies designated for the Committee's review last interim. [Study added by Management Council]
