Priority #: 1     General Responsibilities

 

The Select Committee on Legislative Facilities is responsible for addressing furnishings, remodeling, and space needs in the legislative areas of the Capitol building, including oversight of facilities projects specifically approved and funded during the session.

 

Priority #: 2     Capitol Renovation Planning

 

The Select Committee will serve as the clearinghouse to develop consensus in the legislative branch regarding the Legislature’s vision for Capitol renovation and will provide recommendations to Council for consideration by the Task Force on Capitol Rehabilitation and Restoration.

 

Tentative Meeting Schedule.

 

The Select Committee typically schedules two or three 1-day meetings during the year.
