The Wyoming Legislature meets for approximately 20 days in even-numbered years for a Budget Session. The Legislature can meet for not more than 60 days every two years, e.g. if it meets for 38 days in a General Session, it can meet for up to 22 days in a Budget Session. Budget Sessions convene at 10:00 a.m. on the second Monday in February. Bills other than budget bills require a two-thirds vote to be introduced in a Budget Session.
