Monday, May 14, 2001

Full committee meets and forms subcommittees to meet with legislators, county clerks and citizens around the state to take comments on redistricting.

Full committee adopts plans after consideration of input from subcommittees.

Full committee presents redistricting bill(s).

Budget session convenes.

Budget session adjourns, the legislature having adopted a redistricting plan.

Period to file application for nomination under new senate and house districts.

Aug. 20, 2002

Primary election under new districts.

First general election under new districts.
