Duration of Internship
The program is offered during the spring semester for the duration of the legislative session. The Legislature meets annually for approximately 40 working days during general sessions in odd-numbered years and for about 20 working days during budget sessions, which occur in even-numbered years. General sessions begin on the second Tuesday in January; budget sessions begin on the second Monday in February.
