Frequently Asked Questions

Q    What information regarding bills is available
on the web?

A    Bill Titles, Bills for Introduction, Engrossed Bills (passed the house of origin),
Enrolled Bills (passed both houses) and the Bill Journal Digest can all be found
in the "Session Information" section.

 

Draft Bills – During the interim  "draft" bills, approved by the chairman, are located
in the "Committee Activities" section  within the committee area.

 

Q    Are legislator voting records on the Web?

A    Committee and Floor Roll call votes for each bill are located in the Bill Journal Digest
under the "Session Information".  There is a Bill Journal Digest for each chamber that lists
each bill and joint resolution considered.  The Bill Journal Digest is a record of all actions taken
on each bill.

 

Q    Are Committee Meetings listed on the Web?

A    Scheduled Committee Meetings and other events are on the web located in the
"Events & Schedules" section.

 

Q    Can I find information on my legislator?

A    Current legislators are listed in the "General Information" section.  This information includes
the party affiliation for each legislator, the district number and county location, name, address,
phone, FAX and  e-mail (where applicable).  Each legislator has a link to their personal information.

                Any legislator who has an e-mail address and wishes to publish it on the web is listed
in the "Legislator E-mail List" section.

 

Q    Are the CREG (Consensus Revenue Estimating Group)
reports on the Web?

A    Various Budget/Fiscal information including the CREG report is listed in the "Budget/Fiscal" section.

 

Q    Are Program Evaluation reports available on the Web?

A    Program Evaluation Reports can be found on the Web in the "Program Evaluation" section.
  The reports on the Web date back to 1995.  Prior years can be obtained through the
 Legislative Service Office.

 

Q    Are the Wyoming State Statutes (Wyoming Titles of Law) on the Web?

A    The Wyoming State Statutes can be found in the "State Statutes" section and are available
in a "Text" format and a "compressed" format.  The compressed format is for downloading
to your personal computer.  The Wyoming Statutes on diskette can be purchased through
the Legislative Service Office.  The State Statutes are not annotated.

 

Q    Is the Wyoming Constitution on the web?

A    The Wyoming Constitution is found in the "State Statutes" section.  Title 97
is the Wyoming Constitution.

 

Q    How will I know what are the current items of interest?

A    The Current items of interest are located prominently on the Home Page.
