A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to daylight savings time; exempting the
 2  state from daylight savings time change; providing for
 3  observance of standard time; and providing for an effective
 4  date.

 5 

 6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 7 

 8         Section 1.  W.S. 8-4-107 is created to read:

 9 

10         8-4-107.  Exemption from daylight savings time change.

11 

12  The state exempts itself from the provisions of 15 U.S.C.
13  260a(a) advancing by one (1) hour the standard time during
14  a stated period between April and October of each year. The
15  entire state, including all political subdivisions, shall

 1  observe the standard time otherwise applicable during that
 2  period.

 3 

 4         Section 2.  This act is effective immediately upon
 5  completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
 6  as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
 7  Constitution.
